The Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center is a partnership among different institutions meant to provide scientific, cultural and environmental exhibits to educate children. It aims to inspire the younger generation to become good stewards of the environment. The center is located near the Mall of Georgia. It offers interactive exhibits, gift shops, greenways, trails, and a rental space for various activities. The center also serves as an educational and recreational venue for kids that features an outdoor ropes course, Treetop Quest. The place is open the whole week except on Sundays with free admission.
